From the cellar you have access to the underground cave, which has been renovated by our family.
The cave has been a sulphur mine for many years, then it was used during the Second World War by the inhabitants of the place because, in the nearby Monte Maggiore al Metauro, passed the Gothic line so it was the only way to be able to pass from one house to another, without risking their life.
In fact, in the adjacent Antico Casolare, there is the exit of one of these tunnels, also restructured to give importance to the historicity of the place.
